Living in God’s Grace and Mercy

Living in God’s Grace and Mercy

The hustle and bustle of everyday life can take away the quiet moments we need with God to see and hear Him.  He talks to us by showing us how He is present in our everyday lives.  Today God has shown me His grace today, He has shown me the little things about my children that I don’t always get to notice each day.  He has allowed me to see that amidst the chaos in this world, God has protected me and my family.  Regardless of our marriage problems, God is keeping us.  God has kept us protected; He has walked with us in every step we have taken.  He has shown His mercy even in my weak and dark moments.  My children are blessed, my husband is blessed, our home is blessed, I am blessed, the people of God are blessed.  2 John 1:3 NIV Grace, mercy and peace from God the father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.

My children have no idea what this world is really about, and one day they will realize the truth.  But the foundation God is showing me to show them, to teach them, and to prepare them will help them navigate in this world, and to do His work and help bring souls to Him as they grow.  Yes, it does take a village to raise children.  But there is also a time we must spend only with God in order to be strong enough and prepared for when He says it is time to go back out into the world.  Becoming a warrior for God looks different for everyone, the path is different, we cannot judge anyone’s path on how and when they reach the point that God wants them to be.

No matter how dark your situation may get, no matter how hard it may seem, no matter how much work you put in and it doesn’t seem to work, God is in control of how and when it plays out.  You just have to give it all to Him, do as much as you can and pray for Him to show you the way.  Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.  The one and true living God is a way maker, He is the God that comes through in the last hour.  Keep stepping and walking with Him, the journey will have some storms, some disappointments, and some hard valley experiences.  But they all come with grace, mercy, protection, and love.  There is a hedge of protection around us that we can’t see but we can feel.  Sometimes you have to make some hard choices in order for God to work completely in and through you.  Trust His way, you’ll feel the peace come over you once you have truly given Him the wheel over your life.  Be aware, knowledgeable, and prepared, but do not allow fear, anger, or anxiety to take over you, because we serve the one and true God that has a plan, and He will not leave you nor forsake you.  Everything happens for a reason, trust Him.  1 Peter 5:8 NIV Be alert and of sober mind.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
